i took out my 2.0 carb and replaced it with a 2.6 efi. you have to change the trans, and the wiring harness/computer. the 2.6 driveshaft mounts to the axle different also. the rear axle gearing is different also. goin from the 2.6 axle to the 2.0 axle (which i used) was like going from 3.73 gears to 4.10 gears.. the 2.6 has alot of torque, why youd swap it out is beyond me... well except the trannies break with hard use

To put the B2200 engine in the B2600 you will either have to put the bell housing from the B2200 on the B2600i tranny or you will have to swap the entire drivetrain.

There is info on modifying the tranny on my site.

Once you are in a hurry and let some idiot do an oil change and put Windshield washer fuild that is 30* (in the Radiator overflow) in an engine that is about 200* and drive 2 miles the head is cracked Thats why you replace it!
