k i wanna build a cooler for my beer in my truck bed, is all i have to do is build a box into the bed with a top for it and it would work or would i have to do extra things. please give info.

u would need a plug at the bottom to drain the water. gotta keep the beer cold!!! we thought about it a while back just never got around to it. goodluck

you will need some insulation,or the ice would melt fast due to the heat,also would'nt hurt to have a drain.its a good idea though!

I have always wanted to do something like this and have given it a little thought. I couldn't decide whether to build it like a "dummy floor" with a hidden latch in the bed of the truck or something like a "cooler" inside of a console, inside the cab. I suggest keeping it hidden or stealth-like so the cops have trouble finding it. Might also want to incorporate some kind of drain plug to drain the water out or if you want to clean out the funk.
