I use Rage Bdy Filler and have minimal pin holes of which I just coat with 3m flowable.

I used to work at a limo plant that had you recoat everything with super hot bondo and a razor blade to fill pin holes.

I finally realized that mixing bodyfiller on anything that will allow air to come through the surface causes pinholes, this was when i was using cardboard.
Now im using a bodyfiller mixing pallet (i always use rage gold) and i havent gotten a single pinhole.

okay guys everything sounds good so far but my 2 cents are try to blow off the surface then put another coat of your choice of filler. shit really works good if you just blow the damm thing first!also try checking on your wait time on your primer and how good you load it up.sure it sounds good to put another coat of primer but if you have to really load it up then something is wrong with your bodywork!try finishing it off with at least 180g before you primer it so that you can cut down the amount of coats, this way the smallest pinholes wont show up because of the primer build up. DAMMM PREPPERS!

first off you can not fill pin holes with primer you only build a bridge over it when you try to barry them.and you also risk solvent popping the primer so use a 2 paryt putty like keef said also us it be fore you pimer not after becuz if you put the putty on top of the primer you will cut a low spot around the putty do to the fact that primer and putty sand differnt.also to help keep pin holes from happening do not shack or steer the body before adding the hardener

Dude, just put some fiberglass resin in ur bondo and make ur own glazing putty....lately ive dealt with too many shrinking issues with actuall glaze coat products, so weve stopped using it....just thin it down with the resin and go to town, works great we do it all day!!! this is so true i do that too mainly because bondo aka body filler is made from resin so just thin it down guess with what ..resin ....and save ur self a few bucks

yeah primer isnt for pinholes filler is just use a good two part glaze or just use more filler and a razor blade

ps: 3 coats of primer is all you should ever need just my 2 cents

NEVER SAID TO USE PRIMER TO FILL UP PIN HOLES BUT IF THIS DUDE IS USING PRIMER TO COVER THOSE FUCKERS THEN THE PRIMER WILL HAVE SOLVENT POP AND WHEN HE DOES TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT IT,IT WILL HAVE EVEN MORE PIN HOLES FROM THE SLOVENT POP BEING SANDED DOWN.
