ever coat metal glaze....... do not use the 1k filler it will shrink back into the pin hole, still leaving a pin hole after its painted.. always use a 2part putty with hardner!

sikkens kombi putty, wipe it over the pin holes then wet sand it with 600 and you can paint right over it.

DOLPHIN GLAZE!!!!

Best shit ever, hands down!!!

WERD!!!! but if your in a pinch, you can use some bondo thinner and thin it down and mix a small amount, works just as good as dolphin glaze.

On a side note, and not sure how truly effective it is, I always wipe the bondo w/ thinner after 36 and after 80 and that seems to get the pin holes to open up better for the glaze putty or even just a scum coat of mud...

i usually use some icing stuff its what my shop buys, that dolphin stuff is awsome though. but if u ask my shops awsome painter he just mixed the base and the clear and coats it on then re- clears, and make my mud work look like junk, oh and he also says " if u dont run it, ur not sparyin enough" ha

^^^^^ dude your painter is the fuckn shit. we used to have this body man that would say "put an extra coat of primer over it". dont use any one part putty. it will shrink.

"if it aint runnin you ain sprayin enough" what a tard. yea hi build primer will fill in some of the holes to. also depends on how long ur can has ben open and what brand u use and how many coats u put on to how many pin holes you get.

Dude, just put some fiberglass resin in ur bondo and make ur own glazing putty....lately ive dealt with too many shrinking issues with actuall glaze coat products, so weve stopped using it....just thin it down with the resin and go to town, works great we do it all day!!!

if your getting pinholes in it your doing something wrong to start with...make sure your mixing it properly and using the right amount of hardener

Are you sure it's pin holes or solvent pop in your primer are you noticeing it in your finished product or in your mud work, if it's in your mud work do a tight wipe of polyglaze form evercoat spies hecker also makes a bad ass 2 part filler just for pin holes but defently stay away from any 1k products like kombie putty and so forth.
