You used to build S-10's and hang out on the S10 forum?

Badger Truck parts out in Legal will sell you some used wheels. They get more in scrap weight then you're probably willing to pay for used wheels though. Expect to pay about $150.00 per wheel.

Who's machining your wheels, is he also facing them? I couldn't find anyone locally, I had mine done in Calgary at Alberta Wheel, but I need two more done.

Yes that's me, I've still got my bagged s10 as well as body dropping a 2000 2wd blazer right now with a smallblock and 20/22 arelli's.

I called Badger today and he said if I buy 6 he'll sell them at $225/each for either 22.5 or 24.5. Darren at wheel works turned down my machine work but I just found another guy in nisku. I'm still trying to source the adaptors, Todd at wheels plus just quoted me $1800 for the 4 and I shook my head. I know I can get a set shipped to the boarder for $850 and I have to run to the boarder anyhow since I get my air ride kits shipped to attheboarderstorage.

I've got a few other guys I'm checking out for the rims.
Thanks for letting me know about Badger.
Hey you wouldn't happen to be the guy that ordered some MMW control arms recently are ya, I'm in the middle of ordering a set but the shipping is killing the deal.

My adapters came from Tennessee Wheel and Tire, I had them shipped to the border and picked them up. The service on the adapters was good, getting all the accessories took some time and patience.

I have MMW arm but I didn't pick them up recently. To be honest, I would look at other vendors before buying MMW, the after purchase customer service is brutal.

I've heard a few horror stories of how long it takes to get the arms after paying for them. I buy all my bag kits from airbagit, they offer the arms for a grand including the front bags. Not sure how good there arms are but I thought since I bring kits to the boarder why not throw a set of s-series arms in the order but maybe I'll get a set of dually arms as well.
Looked at there scraper rear kit but I can build it a lot cheaper.

So your user name is severed, you wouldn't happen to know hogie (Rob) since he's a severed guy as well.

Yeah, I know Hogie pretty well. My name is Robb as well.

I've never looked at that kit so I can't comment on it. I pieced everything together to build what I wanted. Mine is set up for towing so I'm running a parallel 4 link.

Ya hogie and I go back to the early 90's, back when jasper ave was still happening.
I'm building my one dually as a tow rig, the other basically for show. But who knows the crewcab might still end up towing as well.

Welcome

Check out Bag Barn. They are in Alberta and sell air ride parts. Might be the most local shop to you.

Thanks you for the link, there only 30mins away, doesn't look like they have much stock but it also looks like there just starting out. I like supporting the locals, I'll call them in the next couple days to see what all they got.

Are you having your wheels machined at a shop or just a guy you know... will he face the wheels as well?

A neighbour down the road from me owns a machine shop in leduc, says he's got a lathe big enough to machine the wheels down.
I've also got access to lathe myself to turn the rims down, I helped out at another guys shop years back and he said I could use his lathe at night or on a Sunday.
Another buddy just called today that has a couple scrap semi trailers with aluminum rims, he's not sure if there 22.5 or 24.5 but will let me know in the morning. Told me $100 a wheel. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
