Not sure if anyone just watched Overhaulin, but I was just sitting there cause it caught my attention cause they were doing a Tahoe, and then out of no where I see the girlfriend pull out the rendering that I did for a customer that was in Truckin's Radical Renderings. The camera never zoomed in on it, but I just about fell out of my seat, it was awesome. Just to have Foose look at my rendering and have it on his show was a huge honor.

no...thank god, the owner of the truck would have been pissed. The owner of the rendering is actually building the truck here in Las Vegas (he was in cali but just moved here). But it was just cool as hell to have my rendering sitting in front of Chip Foose if you know what I mean.

Not sure if you are new to this forum, but this topic was discussed a long time ago when it first came out...but to fill you in...sure the colors are the same but the graphic is completely different. Trucks are painted with the same colors all the time...but yes the two are the same colors with a different graphic split...the owner of the truck actually gave me a picture of Brandt's truck, said he wanted the same colors/scheme but with interwoven flames. I as a renderer don't always get to design the colors and scheme for the vehicles...if clients came to me all the time with no idea of what color or what type of graphics they wanted it sure would make my job a lot more difficult and my prices would have to be based on the hour since I could go for days designing with no direction until I find something the owner likes or in what your pointing out no one else having anything close to it. I occasionally do get the chance to go all out on someones paint scheme, but most people already have their ideas and just want to see them on paper. Hope this clears things up for you.-rj
