wtf chevy 4.3 problem need help asap

so im driving home and come to a stop and my truck all the sudden idols low and cuts out. did it like 5 times everytime i come to a stop. ive never had this problem before. its a stock 4.3 v6 vortech can someone please give me a hand at what the problem may be? its my daily driver and im fu*ked without it.

Fuel pump? What year is your ride?

Fuel pump, fuel filter, or clogged injectors

its a 2000 with damn near 110k on the orginal pump and injectors... how much would it cost to get those both replaced anyways?

no itll happen even when im steady on the gas after about 30seconds i had to shift my automatic cause if in drive itd stall as soon as it shifted.

curious if check engine lights comes on

check your egr it might be going out on you and sometimes you can even get away with cleaning them just a little do not and i do mean do not run air through it will cause even more problems but thats what it sounds like to me and ya it couldbe a fuel pump too but it would act up worse then that i would think wouldnt have anypower at all!! the egr is pricely though at about 150 because it is electronic not vacum operated like the older ones hope this helps you out what it do jeff

Idle Air Control Valve, just replaced one about 5 minutes ago, it will idle rough and cut off, 65 bucks from autozone, I ordered the one I just replaced off of ebay (good ole ebay) for 48 bucks shipped, I can get you a link if you'd like

thank you everyone it actually ended up being my fuel filter? odd i know it was only like 5 months old but i replaced it and run alot better now so thanks for everyones input.

okay nevermind it started again today. it happens when going up hill like it looses power and sputters out. its really weird does anyone know what it could be and how much and how hard it is to replace.
