I just installed 4 Air Lifts on a customer's car. He called me up and said the rear bag was leaking. I checked it out and the "band" came off the bag and its leaking out the bottom bad... I've heard this is a common problem with these bags, but this is the first time I've ever fucked with them. He bought a basic FB kit from FBI so I got stuck installing a bunch of entry level air parts.(like the compressor he gave me should belong in a fish tank) but Im running around 200 psi because it's a heavy caprice. Has anyone else had bad luck with these Aitlift bags?

I HAD A CUSTOMER BRING ME A BAG YESTERDAY WITH THE SAME PROBLEM...HE ENDED UP BUYING CONTITECHS TO REPLACE THE FRONTS....WE ONLY CARRY SLAM AND CONTITECHS FOR A REASON

they suck, i saw one on this mustang last weekend blow, all that holds the bags together are some fancy hoseclamps. sooner or later your airlift bags will pull from the ring.

If you are running a 337 over 150PSI you are running it too hard! Point blank. Get him into an Air Zenith. As for the Airlift bags, it happens. That is why I use Slams!

everything is setup for certain uses! The air lift bags look and work good if set up and used properly (they're mainly for light hot rod cars that run 120 psi)...

Slams are the bag for a mini with high PSI, and Air Zenith is the only 200psi 100% duty compressor

I agree, They are def running too hard. but thats the only way the front will lift. (He's got 22's) I tried talking him into getting a new compressor but he's a cheap ass. and he asked me to install them anyway. He's one of those guys who rushes me to finish it without the right parts just because he wants to impress his buddies at a party. You should have seen him all ready to pick up his car all dressed up in his burberry shorts, shoes, and hat. They all match his interior. Funny he can afford $125 Burberry shorts but he wont buy a bigger compressor. Im going to give him his broken airbag back to him in a broken fake burberry bag.
