hey i have a 92 with a 22r and just wanted to know how far people lower their engine?i measured between the sump and steering and there is only like 1/2 inch gap. can you get it any lower?how have you done it?thanks..

I just notched my front crossmeber and dropped my motor,I want to say it was like an 1" or so, with no problems and no sectioning of my pan...

Lower your motor an inch. You may have to section the pan. Your steering should not hit.

I'll have to dig some,up... I'm about to lower the motor in the new yota by next week so I'll have pick for sure,and this ones a v6...

I just noticed your from sydney,maybe its the right hand drive???

I had to clearance my oil pan for the steering. lowered the motor 1" to compensate for raisng the front clip 1" when I z'd the frame

the right hand drive and left hand drive should be the same, just get some lower motor mounts and section the pan, you should be fine, if i can do it so can you.

thanks for the help everyone.i z'd the frame 1" aswell and want to lower my motor back down 1".i had a feeling i would have to section the oil pan, just wanted to double check.oww and yeah its right hand drive. sydney australia.. the land down under..
