I just dropped my truck 3" in the front and 4 in the rear, but as we all know it's never low enough...does anyone know which leaf spring do i need to pull out to lower it another inch or so? What effects will removing the torsion bars and bump stops cause? I plan on baggin her sometime in december...

just stop and save for a good drop kit bro ...next thing you know it you will be ridding around with one leaf and that is not safe ....

depends on the vehicle, at least keep the very top and very bottom leaf.

my first mazda was monoleafed for atleast 2 years of full time beat sessions so i know they'll hold up.

pull the leaf without the brackets on it- the second biggest. The order goes, main leaf, second biggest, third biggest with brackets and helper/ small leaf. I did this on my cab plus, and I also put on 3 inch drop blocks, and shaved the bump stops in the rear- leave just a small amount of rubber and put them back on- so when you hit a big bump it won't be a metal to metal klank when you axle hits the frame. Also be sure to adjust your brake lines on the axle down just a tad- or else the brake lines will rub when the truck bottoms out. Check your exhaust pipe too for clearance.

I would never drive a truck without torsions unless it's bagged. To get more drop in the front, flip the ball joints, use shorter shocks, and cut the lower bump stop bracket off the frame- you will have to cut it off later anyways for bags. be sure to trim the top of the upper shock tower for clearance for the upper control arm- it will hit it on big bumps.
