As long as the pumps only run when the truck is on, no sweat. ANY compressor will kill ANY battery if you run it with the engine off, but an Optima will hold up better than most.
On top of that, your pumps run more efficiently with the engine running, as they will get 14.4-ish volts rather than

FIRST OFF YA THE COMPRESSORS REALLY DON'T DRAW THAT MUCH POWER IF RAN CORRECTLY. AND IF YOU DON'T PUSH THEM ALL THE WAY TO 200PSI THEY WILL DRAW LESS POWER. THE LAST ISSUE OF MINI TRUCK I BELIEVE THEY EXPLAIN HOW TO WIRE ONE UP PERFECTLY. I PERSONALLY USE THE SQUARE D PRESSURE SWITCH AND THE NEW RELAY/SOLINOID YOU CAN GET FROM SUICIDE DOORS NOW.

I KNOW THERE HAS BEEN SOME CHANGES IN THE CREW AT AIR ZENITH BUT IF YOU GIVE THEM A CALL THEY HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL TO ME. I BELIEVE YOU WILL WANT TO TALK TO DANNY 702-270-7988.

You do realize that a compressors peak amp draw is NOT at its maximum pressure (IE: 200 psi), right? And also a max of 30-35 amps IS alot of draw... regardless of how you wire it up, you're not going to get it any less.

Jimmy - You need to contact the guys at AZ...
