Any photo's of tank/ pump set ups using hard lines.Want hard lines from pump to filter to tank,& tank to bed floor, will be stailess; from under bed to valves will be 3/8'' tube, from valves to bags will be braided.

Where do you plan on getting your 3/8" stainless Gary? I want to hardline my truck when I start finishing the chassis. I cant find any in stainless or copper.

at the going rate of copper, stainless is actually cheaper. I paid 130 for 50 feet of 1/2 copper the other day, and I bought 70 feet of 3/8 stainless for about 105. I think 1/2 would have run about 125. Also, the fittings for stainless are cheaper, between the flare fitting, nut and ring, I spend about 2.50 for 1/2 by 1/2 90 degree fittings, whereas copper can be pushlocks (5.00 and up here, for the good ones) or compression (3.00 and up, don't always work good) I have never had good luck flaring copper on a moving vehicle, even if the line is clamped down well, copper is so soft the flare seems to eventually leak. Just my opinion.

heres all my stuff. Every fitting is stainless steel, all the hardline is stainless tubing, everything else is stainless braided 3/8". Fittings are by swagelok, as is the hardline, and braided line. Swagelok is considered the standard in fittings and hoses when it comes to manufacturing companies. the are gaurenteed for life, and can be tightened and loosened as manytimes as you need and no parts need replaced. they are also stable to 25,000 psi.

ooo, and btw.....

i used all swagelok for every sort of fitting or hose i woudl need for my suspension. all together i have about 700-800 invested into fittings and hoses and tubing...the fittings get expensive, espically when you go with bulkheads and things of that nature.....but they are thy shit!

Does stainless require flared fittings? You cant use compession?

Not in my experience, the line is so hard that the crimp ring will not even scratch the line. One try at bending the line by hand will show you it is no joke. It aint like bending copper or somesuch.
If there is a way to use compressions, I wish someone would let me know, I had to buy a specialty flaring tool from snap on, as all the other ones I bought broke very quickly.
