Help with 4-link install

Need help installing a bolt on 4 link from cahssie tech.
I have a 200 Dakota RT, that I am installing it on.
I just notched my frame and installed the front bags, then I got to the 4 link, nothing seems to fit right. The top and bottom links wind up about 1 inches too wide to attach to the spring perch.

I believe what he was trying to say is that Chassis Tech (AIM or as i call the shAIM) products are all garbage. Gonna need much better pics to get an idea of the setup to help you. Need an overall pics, and pics of the front bracket, to see what all is going on.

IMO - you should scrap that garbage an find a better product.

yea i would use the tubing to make some sweet bag mount or some other shit and get your 4 link from suicide doors or can do or somewhere.

Got you're foot stuck in you're mouth now don't you. When you buy from AIM or anything they make, You deserve a smartass remark because theirs 50 billions threads on every board about how much their stuff sucks a baby pink anus. scrap it, buy new shit and start over, best advice you'll get from anyone.

Try to make that garbage work and youll be sorry, just like everyone else who puts that stuff on their rides.

I have looked over the 4 link kit that i purchased and in my proffesional opion as an enginer there is nothing wrong with the general construction or the welding. Judging from your responce you might have had problems with their product, but once again judging by your post if you did have problems I would be willing to belive it was user error. Honestly, I ceased buying their product years ago because of problems such as that. Your cheapest bet would be to take that mount to a pro metalworking shop, and have a new one made. It is a straight forward install, and is hard to mess it up. I am guessing it will probably never fit, unless you have that new bracket made. Just figure out how far over the tabs need to go, and they can either make a new one, or cut the welds on that one, move the tabs, and re-weld them. I would still plan to purchase a welder and torch in the near future, just my thoughts. I will agree with the above statement of a SD link system, but it won't be a bolt on, which is probably what lead you to purchase the one you have. Good luck!

I am thinking of building my own brackets if I have to. I have a TIG welder in the shop and was tring to save time buy buying a kit that would go on quick and easy, that idea went out the window about 2 days ago.

Do you actually think we believe your an engineer????? If you cant figure out why your "BOLT ON" 4 link wont go in properly, your not an engineer. If you were an engineer, you would have built it yourself, because you could have done it better. This is what real engineers do, seeing as my grandfather and 2 of my uncles are engineers. Engineers dont buy shitty bolt on parts.
