2.5" would be the way to go.

save some head room too.

at 2.5" theres no steering mods needed, even with stock arms. as for the manual tranny, i converted mine over from an auto, and built a pedal to mount the master cylinder under the dash.

this is good to know, but is this the case for 22's or 20's

what tire size and all on each.. more than just rim size determines it..

I'm in the middle of doing the same thing. I'm flat on the frame on 265/35/22's and it looks like a 2.5" BD will plant the rockers well. I have a seperate ? though. It looks like it would be cake to drop the cab mounts about an inch maybe inch and a quarter then just traditionally drop the cab the other inch and a quarter/half. Has anyone done this or does anyone know if this is just a bad idea altogether? Any and all insight is well appreciated.

^ you could do that.. but for the trouble of doing the mounts you might as well go ahead and "stock floor"it and save yourself the headroom.

265/35/22. no steering bindage.

What about the rear end? does it have to be narrowed

mine didnt, i ran 35+mm offset, and didnt even have to trim the fender lips, i have an inch of clearance on each side from the wheel.
