raising the bed floor?

i wish i would have had the chance to do that, but my bed is already all cut up so im just making a frame for the new floor

i did mine in less then a day with the tubes and the fuel cell cap. mazdas are even easier.

Yea, its not that tough. This is about an hours work right here.Thats bodydropped I think 5.5" or so, dont remember now. I finished welding it up and making the filler panels in about 2 hours the next day. The rear panel I just cut down, bolted the top in, and riveted the bottom in where the spot welds were.

holy fuck, 5000 dollars and hundreds of hours, i helped my friend do his tacoma bed like that in 2 days..... it was easier than a chevy, imports have that sweet removeable front piece on the bed.....

how would you guys go about doin a square body s10? i love the look of a raised bed floor!

mine so far. need to sheet the sides and finish off the body work then line it. its really not that hard tho just raising it.

apparently none of you have actually seen my truck.. its fairly obvious by the way you all are talking.. THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY TO DO WHAT I DID TO MINE IN DAYS. it will take even the best of you weeks to do what i did to mine. and no my pix do not do the truck justice. its something you need to see in person to grasp the reality of how great the truck looks. my bed would put all of those in the pix to shame. i've had many folks say my bed looks twice as nice as any out there. so you guys keep doin your 2 day hack jobs, thats why my truck will always win truck shows over you all's simpleton work..

I'm sure it's clean as hell adam. It took about 3 days for me cause I had to hit the juck yard to cut another floor out of a juck bed to make the notch cover. It's not super nice but it clean enuff to handle the show field so to speak. You all can see pics of it on my profile of it before and after the spray on went on it.

too bad you didnt spend as much time on your people skills as you did on your bed floor. I'm sure your truck is very nice, but your attitude sucks, and you sound like a ranting looney.
