umm they pump fast.... louder than a 450.... deffinatly sucks the crap outta your electical system... we had problems of em smoking relays, and solinoids... and there 300 bucks

overall there alright, like the color choices, fast, nothing major broke, but id still take a oasis over 2 or 3 of em

well i am now on my 3rd one...
they get hot really easily and burn up. i had everything wired up just as suggested too. they do pump pretty quick, and the noise isnt really an issue for me all i hear is a humming/vibrating sound. im going to get a second one and keep the 5 gallon tank help them from overworking themselves.

i think alot of it has 2 do with the psi everybody is running,i dont care what they say about u being able 2 run it at 200psi,i have a DC5000 and eveybody talks shit on it but it has lasted longer than my friends AZ and it is a beast i have it on 12 gal of tanks but im only running it at 135psi,i just think it is the way u treat them

just my 2 cents!!!!!!!

the problem is people keep running them with high pressure switchs and dont let them cool off. thats the problem with any compressor. so people can talk shit all they want about AZ but they are by far the best value on the market bar none

go with the viair 480 i love mines fills up just as quick and less noise and easy to fix if anything goes wrong with them... i had an az and it burned up on me some how .... i only ran 160 psi and turn it on for honeslty... all together ... about 10 minutes a day with the viair i could run that shit all day long and no probs what so ever its always been like that... as long as you have the right relays fuse it and ... yeah...

my AZ lasted a hole 4 monthes before burning up I ran a 175 pressure switch and 5 gallon tank know im back to my old dc5000 Mr. dependable. if my warranty doesn't replace it or I have to buy a rebuild kit than Im going to sell it and get what I can. maybe buy another 5000. Oh yeah and it did play hell on my electricals.
