well I'm not actually doing the build I'm having it built... but we ran into the oil pan hitting the front engine crossmember... and some of the accesories hit the front of the frame also and one of the stock manifolds hit the frame i think too... thats so far and that was just after the 1st test fit... LMAO!.... so i'm sure we'll run into more...

sorry for the repeat posts....

alright.. the oil pan out of a vette will be needed to clear and you still might have to modify it or the engine crossmember, depends where they have the mounts at.. as for the accessories, you'll need the vette accessories to clear too and you might have to notch a little bit for them too. it really depends how the motor is mounted.

as for the manifold, you will prob need to notch the frame and or firewall to get the most clearence there. Shorty heads flow the same for them as they do for the manifolds on those, they are pretty useless.

the fullsuze truck oil pan will probably work better. i have a 5.3 and 5.7 i will look at the pans tomm. is your pan a vette pan or a camaro pan??

maybe a march pulley system from streetand performance would help too.
