When welding in fillers, do the tacks need to be spaced alittle or do they need to be completely tacked up.(no space in between)

tack skipping around to prevent warpage but one u get done it should be solid....

i like to tack around the metal and leave spaces, grind it down let it cool then tack in between the spaces, keeps ya from not making good tacks around the panel.

tack all the way so it looks like one continuose weld no pin holes id will hold up better that way

yeah that looks good.
i always completely tack as well, alot less chance of anything cracking out.

Seth just outta curiousity what was ya working on there? was it just pretty much reskinning the bedside due to damage or something a lil more?
