Whats it worth? in new or used condition?

and what about a chrome valve cover?

I know a guy selling both of them... havn't seen them yet but apparently they are pretty much new.

They were for a 88 b2200... will they be ok on my 92 b2200??

Also... will it hang to low with my body drop (1.5" from the doors)

Not sure if it will hang too low with the bd. Mine sat lower than I liked on my non bd'd truck.

Only complaints I had with mine were:

Paint bakes off almost instantaneously when it heats up.
and I never liked the clamp on section with the flange, that went after the collector.

I had an exhaust shop weld on a flange( wich raised the exhaust some ), and will be checking into ceramic coating it at some point as well.

The valve cover should fit with no problem, and the header should bolt up also.

Not sure what the vc would be worth, but those headers usually sell fo under 200 dollars new. I would think a used one to be between 25-60ish dollars. depending on condition, maybe a little more.

they are 151 from Nopi. Used to be 115.. Supply and demand!

Ceramic coated are 248 from same.

the bodydrop doesnt matter, unless your floor is really low. i know on mine i welded a flange on it to make it easier to install. the exhaust had to drop immediately after the header to clear the floor, it definetly wasnt too low.

oh and if you lowered the engine the header will hit the ground.

yeah the motors been lowered a bit.

hm... rusty is it a possibility i had a different header? i know mine was high enough to where i couldnt run the exhaust straight, or it would hit the cab... and that was with a conventional bodydrop.

The flange I had welded may not have raised the header then.....been a few years since I had it done. Can't remember if it went straight or angled down either...hmmmm

Anyway, wish I had known about the ceramic coated pacesetters in the way back. Couldn't find one listed back then.

Oh well, only paid 200 dollars for header and webber carb, so guess I still got by OK

production quality being what it is with pacesetter, I would not be surprised in the least if there was some variance. On my old truck the pacestter header was barely above the framerail and the motor had been lowered a 1/2. I got it caught on all kinds of shit when I was dragging.

corey paul has a pacesetter on his truck with the engine lowered 1 inch with no probs if it isnt ceramic coated dont waste your money on it pacesetter isnt known for high quality so it'll rust in no time as for the valve cover carb engine and FI engine have diff valve covers but you can use either only difference is pcv placing so you'll have to reroute the hose
