need some opinions

Ha ha, yeah, that would be cool ^ but like I said, I'm a chevy guy, but I've never seen a bodydropped crew cab ford in that body style! And Lock's idea ain't too shabby - ditch the i-beams, run a chevy front suspension on a one off frame, link up a new rear end or the stock one, put some 22's on it, and make all the kids cry!?!

you could always find a ford with a blown motor...... and a wrtecked chevy.... make it a mini frankenstien... all chevy susp and drivetrain and jus teh ford sheet metal..... just another idea to toss out there to make the decision more difficult

I say go with chevy... I'm just not a ford fan, at all hahaha... it would be different, but maybe different for the wrong reasons.

Everybody has a Chevy and it's hard to do something to make it stand out from the rest. Now the Ford would be cool, and if it were a powerstroke thats better.

i dunno if i do it it wil lbe a gasser, like a built 351 or something i dunno if i wanna try to work wit a diesal to much headache, granted alot of hp and torque for a little money but up keep

I use mine to tow and would never look at a gas motor... the mileage towing with a big block to diesel sucks. Besides, I can puff some black smoke right in them retards windows at stoplights. lol
