Engine Size

Does anyone know how I can look at my engine and figure out what size it is? I got a 1995 Isuzu Pick-Up. My truck has been through about 5 owners and no one ever asked what size engine it is so no one know.

Is it fuel injected ,and regular or space cab.Is the tag missing under the hood?

most trucks and cars have the engine size on a sticker on the rad support if not run the serial # thru the dealer they can tell you all about the truck engine size rear end gear ratio the whole ball of wax i think it should also be cast on the block some where but not 100% about that.if that don't work try looking at a hayes service book or something of that nature

Carborated is 2.3 and fi is 2.6

they made an fi 2.3l too i believe

anyone know the actual diff between the 2? other then the obvious.

just the obvious and some random wierd stuff like the 2.3 has the fuel pump in the carb and the 2.6 has it in the tank some lines go different places and the 2.6 can have the impulse turbo exhaust manifold bolted up. but if you wanna get froggy the heads off the 2.3 will bolt up to the 2.6 and will still work right and raise the compression of the motor check out isuzupup.com/forum they have a whole section on pup performance and wierd little motor tricks

My 95 had a 2.3 FI motor.

my friends had a 2.3 fi motor and my 89 has a 4.3 fimotor

In response to Paul it is fuel injected, it is a regular cab, and there is no tag under the hood.
