So it took me only 1 and a half wheels before i sliced open a knuckle on the inner fender well i was polishing my wheels.

So my 1st question is - is the powerball worth it.

- what products are you guys and gals using.

Use Mothers Incredible Billet Polish w/ the Powerball then take the black residue off with a soft terry towel. Billets are a bitch to keep clean. Oh and John...I love you.

Get the Powerball and the Powerball Mini. And get a good drill or you'll burn up a shitty one.

Just got the powerball mini and love it! Be sure to get a good drill like Brett said or a corded variable speed drill. Be careful because it will catch and yank something into the wheel.Happy Cleaning!!!

alright here is the trick of the trade to keeping billet clean, this is from Chris Coddington himself.
1. Hot Water
2. strong dish soap (Joy)
3. some elbow grease
4. a good metal polish (trenz is good)
5. powerball is good but so is elbow grease
6. wipe down real good removing all polish
7. then use a teflon wax and wax them
8. remove all wax in a buffing motion
last for a long ass time - no water spots

Hot Rod way of keeping clean
1. container (spray bottle)
2. small amount of gasoline
3. a polishing block from metal store
used to polish on a polishing wheel
4. cheese grader
5. grade the polish
6. put in container
7. add gas to make sloshy
8. has to be able to spray
9. spray on wheels
10. use cloth to buff clean
11. wax the wheel and buff clean
