bondo or fiberglass

I'm wanting to glass my interior but I was wondering if I could just sand the vinyl and put bondo over that or is fiberglass is what I should use?

check out www.fiberglassforums.com for your answer to any fiberglassing question. I ripped all the vinyl off mine but I have seen many go over top of the vinyl. Personal preference I guess but I think its best to pull that vinyl off.

never put bondo straight over the vinyl it wont stick at all. u can glass over the vinyl but make sure to clean it extremley good to get all the armorall and junk off of it. for best results take the vinyl off..

glass it, bondo on vinyl wont work. Goal with everything should be to use the least amount of body filler possible.

I'm gonna take the vinyl off but can I still just use body filler?

I was looking at that yesterday but thanks for the help.

clean it good w/ thinnger,use adhesion promotor, use a high build 2k urethane primer. sand prime sand seal paint clear done.

I AGREE DON'T BONDO OVER VINYL.
