hay while we're on the subject of long and low, question:
corret me if I'm wrong but is the rule of thumb liter colors make an object look longer and shorter and darker colors make them look taller an narrower?

i thought that only worked for cloths

only thing i have ever really heard color wise is on 2 tones... the darker color on bottom goes on low things to make them look lower and the dark goes on top for lifted trucks to make them look taller.... dunno something abou toptical illusion or some shit, at least that what my drunken painter rambled off one night at the bar.
