I have a K&N filter on my engine & I washed my engine the other day & now the engine is bogging & my check engine light is on....anyone else out there experience the same thing????

You're engine is drowning. Theres some places in an engine that water does not belong. If you have an open cone filter like on an aftermarket intake, then your engine is sucking in water from there. If you have a 96 or newer honda, there should be a mass air flow (maf) sensor in your intake tube. If after a bit of driving, it does not clear up, have the maf sensor checked. Also, pull your plug wires and blow compressed air into the chamber to make sure there isn't standing water there also. Hope that gets you off to a good start.

Did you leave the car running while you sprayed the motor off?

How about pulling the check codes to find out whats wrong?

Ya, if your check engine light is on... go to Autozone and they will read the code for you for FREE---

if you got any type of water going into your airbox it will come on. your problem is that air filter. they have an oil on them. when the oil comes off it will cover your MAF sensor and basically destroy it. take out that K&N, thats are the main cause of the problem

No i didnt leave it running, i am definately on my way to autozone, I will ask or as sum say AX if they will check my codes.
