Some one should take a stock fender, uninstalled and not on a truck. Then stand it up in front of all these different wheels that are in question and see. If it clears it's possible if not who cares.

the pictures kinda proved it tho.....its gotta make sense even if it doesnt seem like it would....the monte frame had to be somkinda difference like he said cuz there isnt any other explination.....he put up enough pics 2 show that he isnt lyin...n on 22s it looked flat at the rockers 2 me

thanks justin and scott (hc). I never asked to see that white rangers tires did i? I never bitched that he purple ranger has 22x9.5 with 245-30-22 stretched on them. I dont care. Everyone that is in my club thinks that the white ranger is 20/22 and thats why it tucks lugs in the front and not the rear. BUt i dont start talking shit about his truck. i think its tight. Forget backed into the corner i was beat into the corner and i had 2 of my fellow club members Rolnlow and minitruckpunk corey, backin me and they see the truck daily.

not hatin, but if he would say exactly how he did it not using the clip as an excuse this thread wouldnt be 13 pages long.

exactly. not that i am hatin either, but that truck w/ 22's in the front has more clearance than my truck on 20's. if there is something to do get more clearance, i would like to know.

i tried to explain the same thing that KS-minis did. There is a Monte Carlo frame. With tubular upper control arms that a longer than stock. It cambers very little and with a tubular lower it allows the control arm to sit in the lower frame rail. Sorry that this isnt a mystery, everyone on here has posted this same thing. Its not a ranger i beam, mustang2 , yota suspension it is monte carlo. Sorry that this is what is different and thats why it has the "space" difference. Theres nothing extended or rolled over to lay..

i call big time bull shit because the fact of the matter is, the SAME dia 22in tire that was ont he 22s, is on the other rangers and there fenders are cut and that one has space. the front clip is irelavant to the height of the tire and the height of the fender. regardless of the front suspension, a yota clip or monte carlo, the wheel will be in teh same place.

like i said be for this pic should sum it all up for ya...the black ranger had to extend the bottom of the fender...if not then it is not body drop all the way.... bottom line ..just like brad said do you see any room for 24s

you can move the clip or control arms up or down as much as you want to. the only way that the clip/arms will affect how high the tire comes up into the fender is if it keeps it from laying or takes a truck that didn't lay and makes it go lower. regardless of the type of clip used, the same size tire will be about the same height no matter what truck it is on (with small variations due to camber as seth explained early on). the biggest difference in how high the tire sits is dependent on the body's position relative to the ground. the closer the body is to the ground, the higher the tire comes up in the fender. hence, the lower the truck is, the less clearance it will have. bdrangeron22's truck clearly lays rocker without a doubt, and the tires come up very high in the fender. my truck lays rocker hard w/ a 225/35/20, yet the black ranger on 22's has more fender clearance than me
