Seth, are you buying hot roll or cold roll? Either way that's WAY high.

I paid $36 bucks for a sheet of 4x10 16Ga about 2 months ago, here in Tulsa, I hope the price hasnt gone up since then because I need another sheet for my Suburban

I pay around 35-40 bucks for a 4x8 16 gauge. Just got to find the right place.
Example:
my dad needed 1x1x1/4 wall square stock, the place his work gets steel from said $2.45/foot
The steel place I go through is only $1.17/foot.

Shop around

Cold rolled. I know its high as hell but thats about it. The only other place that has 16 guage sheets sells them for like $65, but they're rusty as hell, and warped pretty bad.
