cool dude, sounds good. i think i will try that out. i cant really measure off the other side though, when i first got the truck, the guy told me the driver side would need to be redone, and when i got it home and looked at it, the bag mount was cracked and moved up a little, so i had to redo that, and im not sure if it moved that upper control arm. so you just use some 1/4" plate steel to make/mount your upper control arms?

Yep. Just add gussets. although 3/8 would be better, but might be a little overkill. In your case, I would go ahead and build new mounts for both sides, both a arm, and airspring. You can't go wrong with knowing it's right this time around. Take your a arm off the unbroken side, cut a piece of 1/4 wall, and clamp it to the arm mount. Center punch and drill the holes for the cross shaft going by the unbroken mount. Now, take some sheetmetal or paperboard and make templates of the rail, so placement will be the same from one side to the other. Grind the broken side down to bare frame, lay your templates on, and weld your new mount on, then gusset. Repeat for the other side, then add new bag mounts. The Isuzu mounts generally have to be mounted up so high, they don't leave room for very big gussets when the upper a arm mount is left. This way, you have a custom mount, looks better than stock, and you can add as much gusseting to the bags as you want. Plating the face of the frame will help as well. I know that several others have ways of doing it, but this has worked best for me.

that is an easy fix just reweld a new bag plate and make new mounts for your upper arm and reinforce it all no need to scrap the whole truck

Ok, I checked them out. The old installer did not have enough gusset going from the bag mount to the frame, But it is easily repairable. It looks like he barely had the mounts welded to the truck anyway. Just grind the frame smooth, hammer and weld up any holes, and make your new upper arm mounts, and install them and new bag mounts. Make sure your bag mount is wide enough that you can run gussets downward as well, and make them go all the way down the frame if possible. Any questions?

Yup. Make sure that any of the mounts going to the motor are reinforced, and cut the whole old mount off. Weld in a new arm mount plate, then new bag brackets. If the other side looks like that one, go ahead and fix it before it breaks.
