dude any subs will work cause it isnt the subs its the install if you do everything right with the right watts running thru them it will work. ive had 15s running off of 50 watt amps and bang so dont listen to people say the subs are junk cause they work good for what they cost

Man I say get ya some cheap audiobahn subs. I've had good luck with the audiobahn alum series. They sound crisp and can knock if you want them to. Match it with a audiobahn amp and your looking at a hella system for 4 or 500. Just know you get what you pay for. The install does alot but you can't put 100 watt bumpers inside a perfectly tuned enclosure and expect to get good quality. Just my .02

see tha thing is, alot of people perceive it as, i have "kicker subs" so ihave to run "kicker amps" i find that a system is way better if u mis-match, a companys not going to be tha best at everything, so one company wont make tha best subs, and tha best amps, but u can get away with runnin one good 12 with a good amp, over 2 12s anyday, jus get tha right shit

It's not all about the install. That only apply's if ur using a ported box because u have to tune the ports. If u use the same exact system with a sealed box and only the subs r different like sony vs kicker or kenwood vs fosgate. The kicker will sound better than sony and fosgate's will sound better than the kenwoods provide u use the recommended airspace for each sub
