oil cooler / big block

88 big block oil cooler fittings....be damned if i didn't disconnect the thing thinking i wouldn't ever want it connected again and here i sit wanting to connect it back up but don't rember what line goes where (there is 2 choices!) so i was wondering if anyone knew what line was the top o the cooler on the radiator? what line goes on the inside (the adapter that bolts on the block has a inner and outter fitting (inner being closest to the crank), so anyone what one goes where?? lol

I'm guessing then that they are not different sized fittings. Can you post a pic?

i'll take a picture of the peice that bolts onto the block if that will help tonight when i get home from work, (unless someone comes up with an answer by then lol) i wish they would have labeled it! lol.

anyone else missing the info that went into the user block at the bottom of the home page. now there is just some picture in there?? it had the info (number of post since last visit) dammit that's where id look to see where to look at new posts.. sorry hoggie now post pics for us and we will help you .

well i intended to post a pic but it's been raining like a SOB up here! there is like 1 inch of water in my driveway! pic later today lol

and your question didn't even pretain to the topic at hand here, plus i don't even up untill now know what your talking about lol.

ok here is the damn pic! it's the oil cooler block peice, now the upper of the 2 fittings (the one on the right in the pic) pulls from the top and the one on the bottom (left) looks like it dumps oil into the filter's center section, and if i rember correctly oil flow is into the center and then to the outside of the filter, so i'm thinking that the upper fitting should go to the top of the oil cooler thats built into the radiator? sound about right??
