I have an AVS seven switch box im about to install. I was wondering if I should just run the wires straight from the wires coming out the box to the valves or if I should use relays for each valve. The wires seem a bit small, and im not sure how much current is needed to activate GC valves. I dont wana burn up the small wires this switch box comes with.

Yeah it came with the diagram, myquestion is do I run the wires from the box to relays before going to the valves. The wires seem really small. I dont know how much current is used to open a valve. The instructions didnt specify that, and I didnt wana screwup the wiring

i know with my 10 switch box i didnt run any relays i never had any problems the only relays most people put are just for the compressors so i wouldnt put one if you want when you extend the wires to the valves you can run a thicker wire i usually run speeker wire because its neater

what gauge is the wiring?

The wiring from the AVS box is small, but I've never seen one fail. The run from the box to the bullet connectors is pretty short, so it should be fine. From those connectors, I always run 18 gauge wire out to the valves, and I've never had a fire- yet!!
FWIW, Home Depot carries a kick-@$$ wire for valves- 18 gauge, 4 conductor, sound and security wire. It's around $.30 per foot, but it's jacketed and shielded, so you won't get any "pops" in your stereo when you hit a switch. Hope that helps!

Thanks Phil. That wire is short, and it looks like it may be 22gauge or smaller. I will just give a shot without relays, if it burns the wires up, I guess I will just rewire it, or do something different.
