no the hardbodys dont fit.my truck is unibody and uses macpherson struts, therefore no upper a-arm.building 4x4 unibody(no frame) suv is a pain in the ass!!!

sorry didnt check your profile to see what year path you had. you could try tie rod exstintions like pre-runners use to make them longer maybe it would help or build a drop down bracket where the tie rod bolts up i dont really know never looked under one to see there set up but i do want the front end for my hard body your path is looking pimp though

if you flip a tie rod with out drillin da hole ur dumb because you run the risk of it breakin. the whole is tapperd to the top or bottom for a reason. ya flipp it it only hits in a fraction of the area. id roll spindles befor i eva flipped a tie rod.

Yea if you're going ot be flippinf tie rods, you need to bore them straight, then add a bushing that is tapered properly.

Why can't you just reverse taper the hole for the tire rod end and flip it. That's what I did on my truck. Worked for me and most others that have a bagged 02+ dodge ram

my prob isnt flippin them, thats already done!(ground out taper and shimed).
my problem is now my toe is only aligned at ride height and way out at any other psi.
should i find a way to flip the lower ball joint to put it parralel with the tie rod? or should i put the tie rod back to stock position and Z the inner tie rod to stop it from going to such an angle and binding?

show me a picture of the front end.

here are some pics with the tie rod back in the stock position.should i put a Z in it?or should i flip it? but then will i have to flip the lower ball joint? if so i will have to cut/weld the spindle to change the angle of the hole so it doesnt hit the brake disk?if i can fix this problem i will move the strut towers higher to get more drop. please any help or suggestions will be appretiated!

if you flip the tie rod, it will create more toe change than stock. flipping of the lower balljoint too would be nice, but all the rework of the spindle would be difficult.
