OK here we go
1) I'm going to put bigger disc brakes on it as soon as I find a kit for the rear
2) as far as the wight of the trailer I don't know yet

3) as far as why I'm not using one of my duallys to pull it is because my 85 is going to be a show truck that runs on alcohal fuel milage will suck some big a$$
and the black 88 will be sold when I finish this half ton crew cab

I know that a half ton will pull my 18' open trailer with a dually on it because I've done it . however stopping was alittle tricky

Well, if I were you, I'd just keep that 88 to pull that trailer. At least you'll KNOW you have a rig that can handle it.

Second side note: I'm not normally one to question another mans idea/dream/goal, but why the HELL do you want an alcohol-powered one ton? I mean, to each his own, but damn dude...

a 40' enclosed gooseneck will weigh around 6,000lbs.

well when was the last time you seen a dually with around 900 alcohalic horses under the hood?
part of the resone is that I already have the injecter hat and the aluminum block, crank, and rods
I've also got a cluch set up with a in/out box but I think that might be way to radical for cruz'n

duallys do NOT make good drag cars

but itll look pretty bad ass.

and as for 900 alcohlic horses..... mine has had about 750 alcoholic jackasses behind it when we go to pushin mine around(at least thats what im estimating with 4 drunk guys when ya add up our weight)./....... so HA
