I have a 76 burban that I bodydropped... The body is ripped up!!! So I bought an 86 burb to put on my 76 frame. What is the best way to lift the body up on the 86 to roll out the frame? How hard will this be? I already know how to seperate it from the frame. What should I hold it up with? What should i do to lift it in my garage? PLEASE HELP!!!

is your garage tall enough to lift it high enough? jack up the whole truck as high as you can get it safely and put the jack stands under the rockers pull the wheels off put some kind of casters under the frame so it rools with out the wheels and lower the frame and roll it out

You can use a Cherry picker to hosit the back of the body up and put some HEAVY saw horses under the cab, make sure the saw horse is wide enough to clear the wheels then move the the front and lift the front and put saw horse under it then you can roll the frame out. This way you only need to have 1 cheery picker and can do it all by yourself.. well that how i did it anyways and everything worked out alright.

get a buddy with a tow truck works so much better unbolt the body and pick it up with the boom and some tow straps through the door openings and drive away with it

chain break, some rope, a big oak tree and a 4x4.

how about do you have access to a car hoist? a dual post is what you want. if you have access hoist the body off, roll out the frame..
if not, any of of the suggestions up there will work. jack, suport it, roll it out, roll it under, and un jack.. kinda sounds like the makin of a porno..

we lifted the body off my suburban with a 2 post lift in my mechanic shop then rolled a trailer in under the body and stacked pallets to set the body on. worked great.
