Kind of biased here but the grand master in SQ won with all kicker equipment. Not the mention the master himself Markey Dietrich's ford probe is running all kicker equipment also. Both use L7 square subs. An L7 12 is 600 RMS/1200 Max. DD is specifically built for SPL (just look at the motor and spider) JL is known for their SQ but damn 900 bucks for a 13" sub. Of course each is going to depend on the quality of the inclosure they're in. If space is a concern, The L7 10 only requires .66 cu. ft. per sub sealed.

I agree to this. RE, DD, and Adire are more focused on spl then SQ. If your looking for more thats been around awhile, Look into Image Dynamics. You dont hear much of them but they still are great performing subs In a SQ situation. If you want to go mainline, look into a L7 Kicker, or a T1 Fosgate

try stereo integrity, they sound amazing. its basically a beefed up image dinamics sub. the spl is good but theyre pretty much an sq sub and are made to be in a sealed enclosure

Just wanted to point out that the L7 is 750 rms and 1500 peak i've got 2 L5's and they r rated at 600 rms and 1200 peak and i have a kx 1200.1 running them and they hit really hard and sound good as fuck too

The 9100 series is thier SQ line, but they also get pretty damn loud. The company is in OK so you might want to contact them and see what they can do for you.

DAMN... I just checked out REs new website and they finally have the new XXX info. Those fuckers weigh 72lbs for the 12" with almost a 13" mounting depth. They kicked the power up from 1600 to 2000 i see also. I know what I will be asking santa for Christmas

None of the DD's i've listend to ever sounded good in a sealed enclosure. Why not go with a properly built ported enclosure?
