no replacing them is the only fix, the switches go bad and grease MITE fix it temporailry, but new switches will work in the long run. anohther one of fords "genous" ideas.
I bought my ranger 5 years ago with the problem a local dealer told me what to and have not had a problem with it since its not always broken just gets gummed up.... would you replace your carb everytime it needed to be cleaned?
with the key in the ignition shut the doors and if it chimes its the drivers door if not it is the pas. door replace the switches it is the only real fix! trust me 10 year ford dealership tech. will fix your problem.
