how high are u riding? my friend also noticed the lower he rode the better. it would mainly sway at highway speeds if he was lifted too high.

i would secind the bags to close to the pivot...correct if i am wrong but i hear you need a minimum of 13 inches or so from pivot to bag location...i had a revers on my taco and i have said this to many times to have another argument about it but i had NONE of the supposed problems....

yea wheres atleast some rattle can? 3 things always certain, death taxes and rust!! haha anyways those bags should be moved up, thats way to far back. no wonder your wondering all over the damn place. and your using 2 valves in the back still right? you should be ok with 2 valves if you move those bags up some and add some shocks, problem solved

i think the 4 link is ok the bags need to be move asap towards the axle like every one else is sayin

bags too close to the pivot, no shocks, these could be the problem, but look at the axel mounts, shouldn't they be plumb to each other? this may be contributing to the issue. Not to mention the bars are runnin the wrong way. lol

everyone knows how a leverage setup gives you more lift, the closer the force is to the fulcrum, the more lift at the end of the bar.

Well, why wouldnt it work that way with forces on the end of the bar? meaning a small movement at the axle end would mean a huge force change at the fulcrum.

What you have is a problem with the dynamics. The small movements of the axle are swinging into large forces at the bag. The bag, being a spring, starts to oscilate, and becaomes extreemly under damped (no shocks) and you swing out of control.

There is a reason people try not to exceed a 2:1 ratio with leverage setups (bag in the middle of the bar) You just found out why without asking.

Yes indeed the problem would still exist with a forward mounted setup. BUT

since the bar mounting would be closer to the center of the truck rather than out past the rear wheels, it would not swing into a 180. That is also the definition of a leverage setup, think of the fulcrum at the rear wheels and the force being applied at 1) the end of the frame 2) the middle of the frame.

So not only get shocks, not only move the bag mounts away from the fulcrum, but make it a froward setup while you are in there.
