Since we are on the subject of 4 link. Instead of bags has anyone ever used a 4 link with coil overs? Just wondering if that would work?

thats what most race cars run.

That's cool, so I'm guessing that is pretty reliable then. Thanks for the info!

i dont no awhole lot about 4 links in no how they work but could someone tell me what would happen if you ran the 2 bottom bars reverse and the top bars forward?? mo it might sound stupid but like i said dont no alot about 4 links i would never do that but just wonder about that or has someone done this

yea i see no need to have the bags offset. I would want them lined up as centered as possible to reduce twisting. shocks will help too but if it was me i would have mounted them foreward and put ina fuel cell.

Bad Idea. No locating bars should be running in the rear direction on any proper 4 link setup.

Another reason not to run the bars backward: All of that leverage force is being focused on the extreme end of the frame, where it will flex more. I see that the shop boxed the frame in for you, which is good, but I only see that rear crossmember- nothing over the notches! Every time that truck corners, all of those side loads are transmitted to the back of the frame, which could make it sway... just another couple of pennies for the pile!

well i have learned alot here, i did put shocks on and it helpped some. It felt worse the higher it was, and i wanted to bags closer to the axel but i also to the guy to do what her thought was best(lesson learned). It took about 140psi to lift it up some, but after the shocks only 100psi would to it. Someone told me to put stabalizer shocks on, does anyone know what they are or where to mount them? The shocks that i put on where on the bottom bar up to behind the notch by the bag, would puting them forward be different.
onece again thats for all the help
