The Uni-body Drop has Started (New Pics pg 16)

Me & a friend of mine took the struts off to see what all we need to cut & how much we need to cut. The back door needs a lil bit of tubbing & of course so does the trunk. We also have to relocate a few things under the hood too. Right now the tires are being squeeshed by the pinch welds!!! Can't air out all me secrets, but here ya go. oh BTW once we cut & tub everything, it will sit an inch or 2 lower than it is in the pics

The rear struts are going to be reused, the fronts wont be

Looks good already, but it will look even better layed out!

took some last minute measurements before i ordered the rest of the parts. Also took pics of the rear suspension arms too.

this one shows the arms hitting the fuel tube & breather

this one shows the trailing (i guess thats what its called) bar hitting the pinch weld

This is the measurement i took from the top of the spindle to the top of the strut tower. I also took measurements from the ground to the bottom of the tire & the ground to the buttom of the pinch welds on the under body. As it sits now, it would layout on the pinch welds, well we still have 2" of frame & such we need to cut away. So when its all said & done, it will lay hard on the body
