Here's pics from last night & friday. We finished taking apart the back half of the neon, smoothed out the upper strut mount for the new plate, Cleared the way in the rear for the tire to be tucked up nicely in the fender well, also we cut out room for the trailing arm to raise up fully, & we also cut the top of the strut/fender well in the back. The last pic shows alec cutting away in the door well

To Be Continued...................

I have a question, what constitutes a "uni-body drop"? Will you be raising the sub frames? Don't get me wrong the work is fine, I have done all this to my bird also but so far it looks like a bunch of suspension work and cuts to clearance the for suspension work. Does that make it a uni-body drop? Will you be cutting the body to drop it down?

everybody is clear on body drops for trucks, what the definition of a uni-body drop.

we are raising the strut towers, so i consider that a uni-body drop since its all one piece

Personally I don't consider it uni-body dropped until you cut the floor out of it. Then you can be uni-dropped. Otherwise you are just doing alot of suspension mods and fabrication. Originally posted by david49910
