here is how i installed a edc in place of my smogg pump . mind you might not look pretty but its not a mess and it works out great
list of stuff needed
jb weld
angle iron with pre drilled holes ( ill give exact type when i can get home and measure)
bolts 1 1/2 longer than the mounting bolts for smog pump

now take off the smog pump and rail also take off the bracket on top of smog pump
NOTE keep the rail youll need the plugs later also keep the nut for the top of the bracket mount.
now cut put the edc up on the bottom bracket. make sure you mount it with the intake faceing kinda towards the driver side other wise the discharge will be resting on your spark plug wires. mount the bottom useing long bolts you might have to make a spacer for bottom to go inbetween the edc and bracket.
now cut the angle iron desired length( once agin when i get home ill put what i cut out)
make sure you cut 2 pieces of each for strength.
now make sure your bolts will go through the hole if not drill out .
on the bracket ( angle iron comin from top mounting bolt hole where you took off the top brackets) you need to shave a lil off so that it forms a triangle with the peice comin off the edc . also on peice comin off edc toull have to shave some so that the holes line up.
now for the rail cut off all the plugs crimp the ends where you cut so its almost closed. take the jb weld and fill best possible or untill sealed. make sure you dont get any on the threads or it isnt bigger than the threads let dry and set and install. the jb weld will hold or you can try and find plugs that will fit either will work.
now install your belt put the braket on that mounts to top of old bracket hole use the nut that was there origanaly its easier.
bolt the 2 brackets together now tighten the belt and all bolts and walla .
now like i said it aint pretty and yea kinda red neckish but hey ive been runnin it for 2 days straight and not 1 problum.
if i left anything out or have questions let me know here are some pick ill post better ones when i take them tonight.

im about to do the same thing, but im going to use some 1/4" steel and make a bracket to bolt on and still be able to tighten the belt up with. all going in place of the smog pump. i'll post it in a new thread and will take alot of pics if i remember too. it shouldnt be too hard.

yorks need to be mounted by their 4 side bolts on the side opposite of the oil fill works best. if its vertical. they recomend that you use at least 4 of the 8 potential mounts to hold it because if it goes out of alignment it can cause other problems with your alternator and other pully driven things like power steering, etc...

My rams edc

if you look at this album you can see the bracketry i made for my ram, its cnc laser cut by my buddy but if you guys can get drawings made up and send them off to www.guiltybydesign.net they can cut them for a good price. just measure and make cardboard templates and you can translate them into a drawing. this way everything lines up nicely.
