Hey i put accord seats from an 88 in my 89 chevy f/s. Kinda the same concept your worken on. All i did was used 4x4inch wood blocks and drilled some holes and mounted the seats to them then mounted that to the floor. Thats it in a nut shell. I had to notch for seat slider clearance too. I threw together this really quick diagram to show you what im talken bout. I need my seats 4inches higher so i could see over the steering wheel. Heres my diagram link. Any questions im me or ill stop by and check this thread. Hope this helps. Oh i did wood just to make a template so i could recreate it in steel tubing which i haven't done yet.

i put 95 civic seats in mine dime, i cut the brackets and head rest off and welded the seats tothe old brackets
