if you measured and are looking at 4 inches to rocker then there is something wrong... (someone back me up) my truck wasn't even laying frame that hard when i did mine and i did a little less than 3 1/2 ... my buddy did only 2 1/2 , but his frame was layed hard (he redid all the crossmembers) anyways look at my profile at my 3 1/2 inch bd and also take a look at his 2 1/2 inch bd (his profile name is sicpupidaho) also Tim (poppasmurf) you may be able to do it , dont get me wrong bcuz i know that i don't know that much.. but i don't think it's possible to do a 3 3/4 inch stockfloor bd on an isuzu (our stock frame's are about 2x4) , i have another friend that did a stock floor isuzu and his frame ended up only being 2x2 , not recommended, and his truck is about as low as sicpupidaho's , trust me , in the end you will be alot happier with whatever you do if you get the frame to lay as hard as possible before you bd it.

with the engine crossmember and the tranny crossmember trimmed, and the frame laying dead flat. I only had to do 2 and 1/4 to get the bottom of the rockers laying flat. that is of course once the pinch is gone.

DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT go 4 inches if you want a straight truck, my buddy moe stock floored his and did a few other things and in the end it wound up to be about 4 inches and he hates it. Also at 4 inches its far into his rockers, and with 20's it rubs the top bedsides and needs the rearend narrowed now just to clear the bed. It lays hard as hell all body, but he says if he had it to do over it would only be enough to lay rocker. His profile is Dragithard

then y doesn't he just space the body back up the 1/2 inch and redo the front frame horns. it would take him a day and then he could lay even with the frame and not tear up his truck plus the fact his bodybushing must be non existent with a 300 pound frame pulling down on them when laid out and frame not on the ground

Well the frame is layed about as hard as it will. i really dont want to have to cut the rocker, but if i have to to make it look right i will.

are you stockflooring this or traditional? cause if its stockfloor you can just build your frame then set bodyon top and then lower mounts the exact amount you need. if it a traditional then just measure

or you could jack the truck up and weld some square stock to the bottom of them frame up at the front of the cab and near the back of the cab. then cut your floor and let the body come to rest on the square tubing (also cut or fold the pinch so the botom of the rocker will lay on the tubing). you can then just weld up the back wall with the over lap or you can cut it so it buts up. but if you do it that way the body will be exactly level with the bottom of the frame. thats how we did a yota and an s-10 and they both came out great

i wish i had some more recent better looking pics of my truck to post (feel free to post one if someone wants) but like i said it's bd'd a little less than 3 1/2 and my frame didn't lay as hard as it could and my frame is off the ground still by a good 1/8" or more... also 20's laying as hard as i am there should be plenty of room even for 35 or 40 series. i can't remember exactly but theres like 27 1/2 to 28" of clearance to the top of the bed and fenders for wheels.. i think some people exaggarate a little on here.
