The reason they don't put the real dually bed on the mega cab is because it is in the contract with cummins they can't build an actual crew cab dually. Since cummins is owned by FORD.

I never thought of it that way...I think I will build one and see who I can piss off... J/K

If I had the money I would do it. I have been thinking about it for a long time but I just cant afford it. There are tons of 8' dodge dually boxes on ebay all the time. Buy a chassis cab stretch the frame drop it and throw the box on. It's as easy as 1,2,3.

If I had the money or if I could get the dealership in on it I would do it. The Dodge dealership over here has about 30 8' dually beds in the holding yard and about 200 Cab/Chassis truck on the lot.

I would mass produce them if they would let me...

I really hope your only kidding about that and don`t truely believe Ford owns Cummins.

The deal with the Mega cab and short bed is a corp. issue internally at DC. No one really has been able to get a straight answer out of DC on when an 8' bed will be available.

they have a dually, just not offered in mega cab. my guess is it would be too long.

It is true the Cummins is a Ford motor and Ford runs an Int. motor.

As for the comment about the contract and the dually doesnt sound right to me since they already have a daully. I just think they went with those fenders because the bed is so short and the fenders wouldnt fit or look right

any fenders would have looked better than those

You didn' know that cummins is built by ford.

And my source about that contract is usually right about this stuff. He's a car dealer.
