Many of us that come to this site have been affected by cancer is some shape, form, or fashion. Whether yourself or possibly family or friends, most of us have witnessed what it can do. I have a friend that is working on a project that means something very special to him (and me) and we're hoping you guys and girls could help. What he is needing is for anyone that has been affected by cancer in some way to give us the name of the person, whether it is yourself or someone you know, and a date that has some significance with the person(s) and they're struggle with cancer. For example, the date could be when the person found out their cancer went into remission, or when they discovered they had it, or even when they passed away. This subject isn't something I take lightly and my friend's project is really special. And just to let you know, the project isn't something he's advertising until he can really get the ball rolling on it so it's in Top Secret status at the moment.

Just to set the example here I'm putting my Mom and my Grandfather's name below. Both lost their fight with cancer. I hope you folks will help with this as much as u can. Thanks in advance.

Well, I have lost a few people to cancer. What is fucked up about it is that my mom, grandmother and grandfather spent their last birthdays in a hospital. My grandfather who just past away early this year had his birthday March 11th. March 13th, he passed away. My grandmother (who died in 2000, had her birthday march 4th (same day as my dad's birthday) and later that month she passed. Later on in 2000, my mom turned 50 in a fucking hospital bed. Less than a month later, she passed. They all died from cancer. Mother and grandfather both died from lung cancer (although my grandfather never smoked one cigarette) and my grandmother died from colon cancer.
