Talk to the guys at IF Customs. I know that they have shortened a few sets of controll arms. As long as they are NOT cast arms, you should be able to get away with it. Just remember, shortening the controll arms will rob you of lift. Keep that in mind if you are trying to stuff big wheels under your truck.

I got some control arms from Hellbent Customs that are 1/2 inch narrow and set up to lay 22's. They are set up for better cleareance of the fender lip.

could do it to get a really low offset wheel on the front...it would be cool to have a 4" b/s all the way around...have some major lip

You Win.

good luck with just narrowing the control arms...

my back wheels are 10" with 4" bs...and the rear end is shortened 5"...

dont think u could do it w/o something rubbing...or something..

Is your frame narrowed?

I narrowed a set for an 89 burban, but i think you better ask russ-d or biomax, cause all i'm gonna say is "worked for me" LOL............... i'm sure both them just had the "half-assed" beacon go off in they're head, and they are running to they're computers.
but seriouslly i'd either call some credible shops, for some good advice. If you'll gonna tackle it yourself (could get messy if done wrong). Or send them off to get done. good luck

better have the 4cylinder.just get a set of tubular and cut the frame mount off and weld it back further inthaat way you could center the wheels and shortin them

id be more worried about proper geometry than anything.

second....a narrowed control arm angled up (truck laid out) will have less vertical height at the balljoint, thus making the spindle at a lower overall height. for a smaller wheel setup with just a deep dish this would essentially still work, but if youre also looking into laying a huge diamter wheel you might want to consider other alternatives such as other clips or aftermarket setups
