i read that a clutch master cylinder out of a 86 can be swapped in place of the factory one on my 90 because its like a 1" shorter, will that be enough to lay or do i still need to move it up?

I put mine under the dash, there was no way it would have fit in the engine bay.

Its now got a short throw, and easier to depress.

YES IT WORKS,SEE HOW MUCH SMALLER SETHS CYL IS?IT LOOKS EVEN SMALLER THAN THE 86 BODY STYLE.THE CYLINDER IS LONGER ON THE BACK ON THE OLDER ONES SO MOST OF IT STICKS THRU THE FIREWALL BEHIND THE DASH INSTEAD OF OUT OVER YOUR TIRE.

Thats the stock one from my truck. My booster is also smaller than on the new trucks, its a cunt hair over 8" diameter.

i used a honda civc reservoir. put it in the wiper cowl. ran the hose down thru under the dash. there was no room to keep it in my case.
i also moved the brake booster over bout 2 inches.
looks like ur in need of new upper contol arms? unsure but the pic looks as if there cut up? can be dangerous if so?!?!?
