i read that a clutch master cylinder out of a 86 can be swapped in place of the factory one on my 90 because its like a 1" shorter, will that be enough to lay or do i still need to move it up?
YES IT WORKS,SEE HOW MUCH SMALLER SETHS CYL IS?IT LOOKS EVEN SMALLER THAN THE 86 BODY STYLE.THE CYLINDER IS LONGER ON THE BACK ON THE OLDER ONES SO MOST OF IT STICKS THRU THE FIREWALL BEHIND THE DASH INSTEAD OF OUT OVER YOUR TIRE.
i swapped it out friday for a new one from a 86 and it helped alot i dont think i have to move it up at all it tucks all the way in now but i may have to swap the booster now because it almost touches
i used a honda civc reservoir. put it in the wiper cowl. ran the hose down thru under the dash. there was no room to keep it in my case.
i also moved the brake booster over bout 2 inches.
looks like ur in need of new upper contol arms? unsure but the pic looks as if there cut up? can be dangerous if so?!?!?
I need some advise for mine, i have a 3" b/d and 18's and i already have the 86 stlye clutchmaster on my 91 , and my shit is rubbing on my tire, whats another easy way to get a lil more cleareance?
will the older 80 Yotas one mount up??
