i realized in this situation splurging for 200 bucks to get a better cat and have it put in was well worth it

no problem man, regardless weather your state has emissions or not, a cat should be on there for optimum performance, i dont care whos buddys sisters brothers uncle did it to theres and it works fine.

I forgot that your turck is an S-10....If I would have been smart and remberd this then I could have told you that s-10s run like shit with out cats and its best to have one on there...but you have taken care of this. sorry about the misleading info.
