I am needing feedback from everyone with bagged suspension utilizing BYC's tubular a-arms or any others you might be running#1 what size wheel & tire are you running?#2 what problems do you have when layed out?#3 what do you like or dislike about them?#4 what is your biggest concern about them?#5 what do think would help the most to remedy any problems you might have?#6 What would be the perfect arm set-up for 98 and newer Rangers and what features would you like incorporated?

I am asking this on behalf of a company whom is considering producing Ranger arms.

Thank you for your imput

arms suck, make spindles for them.

yeah, i think cris described the 98+ ranger spindle to me as a "club" one time. make a spindle that isn't 20 ft tall

i think alot of people seem to get along fine using the 98+ ranger suspension. even though the spindle is incredibly tall and you have to z the frame, most people are fine with that.

ibeams are a different story. if a company were to offer a crossmember and control arm kit for ibeam rangers that was affordable, you couldn't even keep them on the shelves. alot of people use yota clips or build a new clip like my truck has. that may be too complicated for some people. find a cost effective and simple solution to ibeams, and it will sell.

I'm doing my senior design on this sort of stuff. I'm telling you right now there really isn't too much you can do for the ranger arms that will help that greatly. The main problem that arises is the balljoint angle causing them to bind up. Other than that you have the obvious camber problems. Now if you extended the upper control arms with an adjustable set like byc, then that means your just going to get that much more positive camber.

for guys running big wheels the problem isn't just the camber and being able to ride low, they obviously also need to clear them. I think the suspension currently get a very good amount of lift but already has a lot of positive camber.

I have ideas on how to fix these problems, but if it means someone else taking the idea and turning a profit on it, I'll pass. Sorry.

the whole front end is junk, top arms to bottom arms dont match so right there its just not meant to go up and down, better off just sucking it up and doing an ifs designed to go up and down with little to no camber variance like an m2 clip

Someone just needs to make spindles, that would solve alot of problems.
