here are the frame rails that im running there 2x3 boxed and 1/4 inch thick. They came from A.R.T. (applied racing technologys). They are built for nascars so im sure there plenty strong enough.

did you measure that yourself? i think your tape measure is broken, according to my eyes....

I have a question, not too far off topic. If a person has tubing bent for a frame, and one fabricates a full frame, or builds a sub frame....is there any special thing that has to be done with the DMV or making it road legal?

I've always had good luck with not telling them.

I think the only people you have to worry about is the state inspections, and most people that do it are 7 buck a hour guys and they don't care nor do they understand anything about custom, as long as when they drive it the brakes work and all the lights work, its ok.

Dug this one up from last year....

So what are we talking about as far as prices and flexibility goes? I know that Art morrison rails are fully custom to your specs, but they are expensive, like 6-800 for a pair of rails, front cradle to the rear of the vehicle. The A.R.T. ones seems to be like $250 for a pair, any other prices you guys have experience with?

OK, but what were your options, did you send them specs, was there a CAD draw up fee, or did they just have a few generic options to pick from? Also what kind of cost are we looking at? I just wanna figure out the best quality for the best price. Also what was the dimension (wall thickness, 2x3?) And how much for shipping?

Thanks in advance
